Hearing after four weeks on plea that says no case pending against Jagtar Singh Hawara in national capital, while adding that his conduct in prison has been clear except for the 2004 jailbreak when he escaped and was later arrested.
The Supreme Court on Friday sought responses from the Centre and the Delhi and Punjab governments on a petition by Babbar Khalsa terrorist Jagtar Singh Hawara, who is serving a life term in the Beant Singh assassination case, seeking his transfer from Delhi’s Tihar Jail to a prison in Punjab.
