Ludhiana: Got threat call, claims woman sarpanch candidate; police begin probe

Deputy superintendent of police (Dakha) Varinder Singh Khosa says the police are investigating whether the call originated from a legitimate UK number or a virtual number through WhatsApp.
The caller reportedly warned Sukhdeep Kaur of Toosa village in Ludhiana to withdraw her nomination or face “serious” consequences.
