ADRE 2024: Assam govt to come up with SOP on frisking of women candidates, probe Nalbari incident, says CM

The CM said he has instructed the DGP, Assam, to investigate the Nalbari incident, where a female candidate has alleged she was inappropriately searched.
“ For me, the dignity and respect of our mothers and sisters are of utmost importance and non-negotiable," the chief minister said. (PTI)
