Andhra Pradesh Rain News Live: As per a press release by the state government, more than Nearly 4.5 lakh people were affected by the unprecedented rainfall and floods in Andhra Pradesh over the past three days, leading to the evacuation of 31,238 people to 166 relief camps.

The most affected districts included NTR, Guntur, Krishna, Eluru, Palnadu, Bapatla and Prakasam, the release stated.

Telangana Rain News Live: Paleru Reservoir and Munneru River in the Khammam district started overflowing on Monday after continuous heavy rainfall over two days. Water has reportedly entered multiple homes of villagers in Cheruvu bazar.

A villager told ANI that around 20 to 25 houses in the area have been flooded. He claimed that apart from the local corporator, there has been no other help offered from the state government.

"We will start the operations by tomorrow evening. Our efforts are to start it earlier too, but by tomorrow evening it will be started again. For now certain areas are not approachable, but more manpower, more machines are yet to come in the area for help", added the official.

Ajit Singh Nagar remains one of the worst affected areas. "Now I am sending messages one by one. A friend just called me. Though some friends offered to come and supply provisions, we told them that there is no accessibility even for that too," a resident told ANI, adding that they are yet to cook breakfast for the day.

Telangana Rain News Live: Union Home Ministry assured Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that 40 power boats and six helicopters would be sent to assist relief and rescue operations in the state.

"Power boats reached Vijayawada. Following discussions with the Centre on Sunday, a large number of boats were dispatched from other states. Food is being distributed in Ajit Singh Nagar using the boats," said an official statement on Monday.

Speaking to ANI, CM Naidu said, "We are streamlining the system, and 110 boats are currently working to supply food and provide medical assistance. I am regularly monitoring the floods, and officials are actively working on the ground. Since last night, I have visited many flood-affected areas. The public should not panic. We are setting up command and control centers in the flood-affected regions.
