42 schoolkids injured as Haryana Roadways mini bus overturns near Pinjore

Equipped with around 40 seats, the bus was carrying around 70-80 passengers, double its capacity, as per officials familiar with the matter; the driver, who had earlier fled the spot, was arrested later in the day
As many as 42 schoolchildren were injured when a Haryana Roadways mini bus fell into a ditch near Nolta village in the hill area of Pinjore block of Panchkula district on Monday morning. The injured were rushed to the civil hospital in Panchkula and polyclinic at Pinjore. (Sant Arora/HT)
